Energy measurement and management systems are at the very heart of the process for improving energy efficiency. The new DIRIS and COUNTIS ranges from SOCOMEC constitute a global response to the needs of installers, integrators and users in industry and the service sector.Besides metering functions, the new DIRIS A multi-function measuring stations monitor and optimise networks by alarm management, monitoring distribution parameters and the remote control of electrical devices. They communicate via Ethernet and have temperature modules. Also covering the metering and counting functions, the DIRIS N analyses the quality of the energy supplied in compliance with the criteria defined by standard EN 50160 and provides a detailed analysis of ‘pollution’ (harmonic, inter-harmonic, transient, flicker effect...).Measurement is the key link in managing an energy efficiency project. With DIRIS, SOCOMEC has developed the most advanced Power Measurement Device on the market, dedicated to improving your energy performance. For over 20 years, thousands of users, installers or integrators have trusted the innovative DIRIS solutions for: • energy metering and management• electrical facility monitoring• power quality analysis. Compliant with the new IEC 61557-12 standard specifically for multi-measurement devices (PMD), they guarantee the operator a product designed and tested in accordance with the functional requirements of its application, ensuring a high performance level.
Energy measurement and management systems are at the very heart of the process for improving energy efficiency. The new DIRIS and COUNTIS ranges from SOCOMEC constitute a global response to the needs of installers, integrators and users in industry and the service sector.COUNTIS E products meter electric power consumed by loads, thereby enabling control and allocation of consumption. They are MID certified and communicate via RS485.DIRECT MEASUREMENT UP TO 100 A:Direct measurement of energy, single phase or three-phase, for currents below 100 A. Three-phase indirect measurement via CTs for currents up to 6000 A.MID TAMPERPROOF METERINGFor applications requiring the resale of consumed electricity, choose the COUNTIS E units with MID certification.GUARANTEED CONNECTIONAll COUNTIS E are protected against phase/neutral inversion and detect wiring errors. Commissioning is faster and the meter is guaranteed to operate correctly.1, 2 OR 4 TARIFFSCOUNTIS E devices can manage up to 4 tariffs. 4 separate time slots are available for more detailed monitoring of energy consumption. RS485 connection required for 4 tariff implementation.A CHOICE OF COMMUNICATIONTo use COUNTIS E devices remotely: a pulse output or communication via RS485 Jbus/Modbus is available. Advanced configuration and display are available via RS485.
The Energy Reporting software automatic generation of multi-utility consumption reports (electricity, water, gas, etc.) for more frequent monitoring. The Control Vision software enables all electrical network parameters to be displayed (U, I, P, energy, etc.).The user can also create logs of electrical values over a chosen period.CONTROL VISION is a software package for processing data read by the Diris Am, A20, A40, A41, Ap, M, Mh, C , CC, CM, CMv2 measurement units and COUNTIS Ci pulse concentrators. The software operates in a Windows XP Service pack 3 or VISTA environment. The minimum configuration required is a PC with a minimum 1.0 GHz processor, RAM 512 MB, at least 500 MB space available on the hard disk and a screen with minimum resolution 1024x768. Communication with the devices can either be directly via Ethernet, or via a serial or USB port on the computer.• Communication with all DIRIS and COUNTIS Ci• Instant reading of electrical values, meters, indices and harmonics• General reading of meters and indices• Alarm display• Management of data logs and automatic readings• Measurement curve • Export and print options • Multilingual• Multi-station solution for use by multiple users• Windows Vista, XP and NT compatibility
Quality of the current transformer is a dominant factor in guaranteeing a precise measurement.SOCOMEC offers a complete, high-performance range capable of meeting all your installation requirements. SOCOMEC current transformers deliver to the secondary a standard current proportional to the primary current and adapted to the rating of the associated device. They are equipped as standard with removable terminal covers and double terminals allowing the secondary to be short-circuited without any risk. They are mounted using two screw-on metal brackets or, in certain cases, by a clip-on DIN rail fastener. The connections are made by screws or by fast-on terminals. • Accuracy class: 0.2s - 0.5 or 1• Dielectric quality: 3 kV - 50 Hz - 1 mn• Usage frequency: 50 - 60 Hz• Permanent overload 1.2 In• Insulation class: E (120°C)
Earth leakage relays associated with a remote trip breaking device (automatic power breaking), provide the following functions:- protection against indirect contact,- limitation of leakage currents. They also preventively monitor electrical installations via their (configurable) pre-alarm function or when used as signalling relays.Conformity to Standards: IEC60755, IEC60947-2, IEC62020, IEC60364.
The DIRIS BCMS 720 is a compact system that can simultaneously monitor up to 72 branch circuits. In addition to the 72-branch circuits monitoring, 10 supplementary circuits can also be monitored (mains incomers) and all within a single device to reduce space requirements. The DIRIS BCMS 720 system significantly improves the energy efficiency of service or critical buildings by permanently monitoring the current, energy and power on distribution circuits. Its compact format means it can easily be fitted into all types of Power Distribution Unit (PDU) or Remote Power Panel (RPP).Designed for use in data centres and service buildings, the DIRIS BCMS 720 provides several key features:• reduces energy consumption,• increases data centre availability,• helps provide easy allocation of energy costs,• optimizes power capacity management. In addition, the DIRIS BCMS 720 system provides users with various functionalities for measurement, alarms management and communication. Modbus and SNMP communication allow easy integration in any energy or power management software (EMS / PMS).The device accurately measures current, power and power factor and determines the energy consumption for all the distribution circuits and mains incomers. It can also measure voltage and frequency on one or two mains incomers.A further advantage is that users can configure the alarms for different events, such as overcurrents, over and undervoltage, zero current, etc. With its highly compact format and connection options (split-core CTs, combinations of 6 and 9 CT strips with 18mm pitch), the DIRIS BCMS 720 system is perfectly adapted to all distribution panels and terminals, whether in new installations or for renovation projects. Device mounting is also very quick, either on DIN rail or back plate. Its robust design coupled with its electrical safety features is guaranteed by casings which protect all components. The DIRIS BCMS 720 is fully compliant with standard IEC 60950-1 (the standard governing materials safety in information technology equipment).
